At last year’s Palace Anniversary, Johnny was struck by a DC Police cruiser which crushed his left leg; in the intervening year, Johnny has endured too many surgeries to enumerate, and the responsible party has never admitted to having caused the accident. So hurry hurry, you won’t want to miss a single moment of our astounding assortment of aberrations of nature and culture! And every penny goes to Johnny's medical bills.
On Thursday May 15, you will see today’s most fabulous and fantastic Burlesque artist, the extraordinary L'il Dutch! You will be amazed by the unparalleled prestidigitation of the world-famous Conjurer Eric Henning! You’ll laugh ‘til it hurts with the eccentric Vaudeville Comedy of Phillips & Flathead. And as if that’s not enough, we will astound you with the mystical, marvelous and miraculous Glass Walking of Mab just Mab. And you will be dazzled by the trick roping of the world’s only known Scottish Cowboy, Johnny McLeod. The Squidling brothers With Cavalcade of the Odd bring you the strangest of Circus Sideshow, Aerial acrobatics, Burlesque, Clowning and fire. Bubbles Corbalay "the worlds greatest dare devil" will jump the suicide leap of faith from a six foot ladder into a pile of broken glass, and balance a flaming grill on his chin.
Betty Bloomers and Jelly Boy the clown will display unusual feats of sword swallowing and their dance of Burlesque bafoonary full of sideshow punch lines. The Impenetrable Matters Squidling will drive a time machine of sounds and moving pictures placing himself in harms way of dangerous objects coming through unscathed.
